December 18: The Greens of Christmas
Few things are more associated with Christmas than holly, decorated balsam fir trees, and evergreen wreathes. The connection between evergreens and winter solstice celebrations has a long and fascinating history. This presentation will look at the history and symbolism of evergreens, as well as what they can teach us about the birth of Christ.
