Join us on Sunday, March 19 at 7 pm for a meditative Compline sunset service sung by Aperi Animam, Milwaukee-based early music vocal ensemble and artists-in-residence at our neighbor, All Saints’ Cathedral. You’ll see lots of familiar faces, as many of our choral scholars at St. Paul’s are also members of Aperi Animam!
What is Compline? Compline is the last of the four services in the Daily Office (BCP, p. 127). It is descended from the night prayers said before bed at the end of the monastic round of daily prayer. We hope you’ll join us on March 19 for this peaceful and prayerful service.
