A statewide conversation on America’s 250th Anniversary
September 20, 2026 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Please join PBS Wisconsin and its St. Paul’s Episcopal Church partner in a respectful, engaging community discussion designed to foster life-giving dialogue and connection within a community of people whose perspectives may align or differ.
We’ll begin by showing a segment of Ken Burns’ “The American Revolution.” The video clip will be followed by small group conversations with trained facilitators. The theme of the conversations will be “Faith and Freedom” as understood at the time of the founding of America and brought forward to today.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice talking and listening to each other again! The event is open to the public so please feel free to share with any family, friends or coworkers that you think might be interested in joining us in healthy dialogue around issues affecting our democracy on this 250th anniversary of our country.
