(Rescheduled from June 2)

In honor of Juneteenth, we will be discussing the roles black women have played in the US military. Since the American Revolution, blacks have been vital members of the US Military. Still, many times their contributions are overlooked and ignored. This is especially true for black women. Join us as we examine the roles Harriet Tubman, Private Cathay Williams, and Lieutenant Colonel Charity Adams Earley each played in the US Military, as well as what their lives can teach us about courage in overcoming adversity.

Join us in the community room for the Adult Forum after the 10 am service this Sunday (6/16).
