Remembering the Faithful Departed

All Saints’ Sunday is November 6 this year, and we’ll be remembering together all the saints in our own lives who’ve died in the sure and certain hope of resurrection to eternal life. We’re going to remember our beloved dead by name in worship, and need your help.

Please take a moment to give us the names you want read at the Eucharistic Prayer. You can do that by sending email to Cindy Wilmeth at cindy@mkepaul.org. You can send as many names as you want (within reason), and we ask that you use the FULL NAME of each person, without initials, nicknames, or titles (Dr., Colonel, the Rev., etc.). So, for example, Dr. Bobby M. Jones becomes Robert Michael Jones. If the pronunciation isn’t obvious, please help us out.

The names will be read as part of a candle lighting ceremony in front of the altar immediately before we offer the Eucharistic Prayer, together with angels, archangels, and all the saints. Let’s make All Saints’ Sunday a meaningful morning of remembrance and hope.
