Following on the success of the Advent Book Group, you are invited to join St. Paul’s members and friends for a weekly discussion of Amy Jill Levine’s Entering the Passion of Jesus. Amy-Jill Levine is a Jewish scholar of the New Testament and writes with incredible generosity and wit for Christians deepening their faith. While the book says it is a beginner’s guide, Amy Jill writes in a way that provides meat for both beginners and longtime disciples alike.
All St. Paul’s parishioners and friends are invited to join Paul Pasquesi and Pr. Seth Raymond (after March 3rd) in the North Tower Community Room at St. John’s on the Lake from 11am-12:15pm on 2/21, 2/28, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, and 3/27.
If you are coming from outside St. John’s, please park in the south parking lot and check in at the lobby desk.
St. Paul’s has purchased copies of the book and gladly provides them free of charge to active participants. Please see Kathy Thome or Paul Pasquesi for a copy.
