The Interim Rector will be taking some needed time away in the coming days. He’s taken time off from St. Paul’s before, but as the senior warden corrected noted, except for sneaking an extra day here or there for a quick trip to Des Moines, he hasn’t really disengaged and recharged.
Lane will work as usual through Thursday afternoon, Sept. 15, then leave Milwaukee, returning to the office Tuesday morning, Sept. 27. For Sundays, Sept. 18 and 25, the Revs. Mary and Jim Trainor will lead worship. Mary and Jim and experienced and well-respected clergy of the Diocese of Milwaukee, and the Lane is grateful for their leadership and generosity.
