Diversity Committee Annual Report 2021

In 2021 the committee held events in February and June.

This included:

• African Heritage Month Celebration-February
  • Adult Formations on three Sundays of the month:
    • 2/14 “An Encounter With Spirituals: Music and the Spoken Word” with Faye Watson Cheatham, and Wallace McClain Cheatham
    • 2/21 “Jazz and the Story of Integration” with Laura Fritz
    • 2/28 “A Passion For Early and Classical Music” Panel Discussion with host Austin Bare

• Diversity Sunday-June
  • 6/27 Festive Reception after worship in the church park
