A Milwaukee native, I have a B.A. in mass communications-journalism and an M.A. in history, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My hobbies include reading and watching sports (baseball, football, basketball, and especially hockey).

I am a grant writer for Ascension Wisconsin Foundation, focusing on raising money to support community health programs for the vulnerable, and an independent scholar/writer/editor, focusing on American history and political science.
