Canon Joseph Kucharski provided a demonstration of the St. Paul’s organ for over fifty Homestead High School orchestra students and parents on Thursday afternoon, with help from Mr. Lee Erickson, All Saints’ Cathedral organist. The Homestead Orchestra is headed to Carnegie Hall to play Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and wanted to hear it played on the organ first, and Mr. Erickson was happy to oblige. What a joy to be able to welcome young musicians into our space! Thanks to Canon Kucharski for providing a warm (and educational) welcome to these students.
