St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Milwaukee is hosting events throughout the month of February honoring African American Heritage Month. Each week St. Paul’s is presenting spiritual music during Sunday services representative of the African American culture. Special Adult Forums will feature a range of topics including discussion of the importance of spirituals in American culture, exploration of the life and times of Absalom Jones, and healthcare inequality across racial lines. Symbolic African colors and cloth will adorn the alter area of the church. Sunday Adult Forums begin at 8:15am. Eucharist services begin at 10:00am. Both are live streamed on St. Paul’s Episcopal Milwaukee Facebook page or available in-person at the church.
