The next Interim Rector Forum will be held at 9 a.m., Sunday, July 31 in the Great Hall, and everyone is encouraged to participate. The topic will be our ongoing conversation with All Saints’ Cathedral, and the possibility of meaningful collaboration and consolidation of operations, ministries, leadership, and administrative staff and structures.
The Very Rev. Kevin Carroll, dean of All Saints’ Cathedral, is preparing for an August and September sabbatical. But before he goes, Kevin and I will be visiting each other’s services on July 24. I’ll serve as deacon and assisting priest at the Cathedral’s 9 a.m. Eucharist, and then we’ll hot foot it to St. Paul’s, where the dean will be our preacher. I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Kevin this Sunday, and praying for a fruitful and refreshing sabbatical.
