Easter Day COVID Exposure Reported

CDC

St. Paul’s learned late Wednesday that a person who attended Easter Day services tested positive for COVID the following day. The Interim Rector gave the person communion, and spoke with the person in the receiving line, but does not recall whether he shook hands with the person. At the recommendation of a physician, the Interim Rector received a PCR test Thursday morning, and the results should be available late Friday or early Saturday. If the results are positive, the Interim Rector will report that information to the parish, and will not attend Sunday worship on April 24. If the results are negative, no special announcement will be made. The Interim Rector received his fourth COVID vaccination on April 9, and is not experiencing COVID symptoms.
