After a long summer hiatus, Adult Formation is back! This year, Adult Formation will be a biweekly program, meaning there will be lectures on the first and third week of every month, with alternate programs on some second and fourth Sundays. Stay tuned for more details!

September 18: The Arguments Surrounding Abortion
On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade, leading to many heated arguments surrounding the legality and morality of abortion. Philosophers and theologians have grappled with the issues surrounding abortion, such as when life begins, a woman’s right to bodily autonomy, as well as the nature of consent. This presentation will look at the main pro-life and pro-choice arguments, as well as examine ways we can more respectfully engage with each other over this controversial topic.
