About St. Paul's
Worship is the center of what we do and who we are. Our worship combines the beauty of the Episcopal (Anglican) tradition and a warm welcome. Our worship is where we gather regularly to praise God, to hear and respond to Christ proclaimed in Word and sacrament, and to be sent out empowered by the Spirit to serve God and the people of the world. Our Sunday worship services are at 8:00 a.m., a quiet service with a spoken liturgy and a sermon, and 10:15 a.m., our service with music and choir, congregational singing, sermon, and children’s liturgy. Both of our Sunday services are Eucharist services.
We also have many weekday services, We also offer noonday prayer Mondays through Thursdays, a chance for quiet reflection in the middle of the day. Although music is not a part of our offering at all of our services, music is an important way in which we pray and praise God at St. Paul’s. We have two choirs that assist in the leadership of our worship, and I invite you to find out more about our wonderful music ministries on this website, and especially in person.
Through our many ministries in the church, we are nurtured and equipped to participate more fully in our ministries in the world. Our ministries at St. Paul’s include Worship, Christian Formation, Outreach, and Fellowship.
We have been growing at St. Paul’s not only in our numbers, but in our faith. We offer Christian Formation programs for all ages (also known as Adult Education, Youth Programs, Sunday School, and Children’s Ministries), which help us to grow in our understanding of our faith, our experiences of God and the world, and the teachings of the Church. Reaching out to one another and to the larger community of Milwaukee, the diocese, and the world through our many Outreach ministries helps us live out Christ’s call to serve the world as his disciples. Opportunities for fellowship nurture our life as a parish community.
